Burn Station @ DKIT

Today Burn Station got a good reception from the students of DKIT. We setup in college early to make sure we had no problems like yesterday in The Marshes. We used up 100 CD's over the last two days, and the majority of them were distributed today to students. The students also seemed interested in the concept behind Burn Station which made the day interesting as the team spent a lot of time talking to students. The team did two interviews today at college, one was for a local newspaper the Dundalk Leader and the second was for some 3rd years Cultural Studies students. Over all i think the whole project was a success as we have distributed a lot of music which iam sure anyone off our artists in our Burn Station database would be very pleased with. The concept behind Burn Station was also spread out to the public which is another good side effect of the event. Everyone in the team was highly motivated and all worked very hard and collaborated together to make the day a success.

Burn Station hits The Marshes

Today Burn Station was held in Santa's Grotto in The Marshes shopping center. It took a while to get going, then we had to get free music out to the people. We got a mixed reaction from the public as a lot of people did not want a free music CD,but some did and they got involved in the Burn Station kiosk.
